1. Acceptance of Terms

By using the Fotspor app or visiting the website fotspor.mobi, you accept these terms. If you do not agree to the terms, you must refrain from using the service.

2. Use of the Service

Fotspor is a platform where users can create and share routes with checkpoints, questions, and content.

As a route creator, you are responsible for the content you publish and for how routes are used. In particular, you must ensure that checkpoints:

are not placed on private property without permission
do not lead users to dangerous locations
do not direct users to areas without lawful access

FotsporTech AS is not responsible for damage or loss arising from use of the service.

3. AI-generated Routes

Fotspor may provide suggested routes and content based on artificial intelligence. These suggestions are for guidance only.

It is always the user's responsibility to verify that routes and checkpoints are safe, lawful, and fit for use.

4. Publishing Rules

When publishing content in Fotspor, you must follow these rules:

Do not publish hate speech, harassment, threats, or pornographic content.
Do not publish images of people without consent.
Ensure you have the rights to any images, video, audio, and other materials you use.

You are solely responsible for the content you publish.

5. Sessions, Quiz Responses, and Leaderboards

Some routes may use the sessions feature, where participants submit quiz responses and can appear on a live top-5 leaderboard.

When this feature is used, the following applies:

Route creator responsibility: You must inform participants about how responses and scores are used.
Outside schools: If the feature is used outside schools or public education, the route creator is the data controller for any personal data and must have a valid legal basis (normally consent).
In schools: When the feature is used in teaching, the school owner is the data controller, and FotsporTech AS acts as data processor.
Children: If consent is used as the legal basis, parental or guardian consent must be obtained for participants under 13 where required by law.
Leaderboards: When leaderboards are enabled, only nickname and total score are normally displayed. Avoid using full names or other identifying details.
Data minimization: The feature is intended for simple quiz responses. Collecting sensitive personal data is not allowed.
Fair use: Manipulating results or impersonating other participants is not allowed.

Scores and leaderboards are updated continuously. Temporary delays or technical issues may occur.

6. Content and Accounts

Fotspor may remove content that violates these terms or applicable law. We may also suspend or deactivate user accounts in cases of misuse.

7. Copyright

When you publish content in Fotspor, you grant FotsporTech AS a non-exclusive, royalty-free right to use, display, and distribute that content in connection with operating the service.

8. Privacy

Information about how we process personal data is available in our privacy policy.

9. Changes to the Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the service after changes are published constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

10. Governing Law

These terms are governed by Norwegian law. Any disputes shall be resolved by Norwegian courts.
